However, in order to keep this place enjoyable for everyone, there are certain rules that must be followed. Failure to follow any of them may result in administrative action being taken against your account.
1. Flaming, trolling and offensive language directed towards other people are not allowed anywhere except the Flames and Rants board. Occasional flaming is acceptable elsewhere, but please don't abuse this rule.
2. You must not deceive, harass, stalk, deliberately offend or threaten other users. If you are being harassed in some way, please contact a staff member. You may not impersonate other individuals, regardless of whether they use this forum or not.
3. You may not spam or flood the board. This includes posting the same message repeatedly and making useless posts, and will result in an immediate ban.
4. Some people have been posting referral links. On many other forums, they are not allowed. Referrals are allowed on this forum for now, but I may revoke this privilege if people start abusing it. You may not attempt to trick other users into clicking referral links, such as by disguising the links as something else. Post made by spambots will be deleted.
5. The forum can be configured to block offensive language by replacing certain words or phrases with something more appropriate. Any attempts to bypass the censor (if enabled) is not allowed.
6. No inappropriate usernames are allowed. Posts by guests with offensive usernames will be deleted immediately. If a registered member has a potentially offensive display name, they will be asked to change it. Account with an offensive login name (which cannot be changed) will be banned, and the user will be asked to register a new account.
7. No illegal materials of any kind may be posted at all. Illegal content includes serial codes, "warez" and links to sites with such material. You may not post copyrighted materials without permission from the author. Also, you may not post anything that violates the rights and policies of third parties. In other words, you may not discuss how to break another forum's rules, etc.
8. Please follow staff members' instructions. If you have a dispute with a moderator or administrator, please contact me, and we can discuss the situation.
9. Please try to post topics in the correct forums. If you accidentally post in the wrong forum, don't worry; a staff member will move it to the correct online. Just be more careful next time. Cross-posting the same message in different forums without a good reason is not allowed.
10. You must not post any sex-related materials. This includes sexual language, jokes, slurs and pornography. Doing so will result in an immediate ban.
11. You should regularly check this post for changes to the rules.
12. If you are unsure whether something is allowed or not, please consult a moderator or administrator first. Staff members have the final say on whether something is allowed. In general, please use common sense before you post.
13. Some forums may have their own sets of rules. Please make sure that you abide by them.
14. You may use images in your signature, but please be considerate of users with limited bandwidth. Refrain from using inline links to large images.
