about 8 months ago i signed up for a runescape forum that asked for your rs user and pass to login and a week later all of my prized possesions i worked hard for had gone. i lost just over 800k, 2 sets of full rune, like 3 or 4 r2hs, rune baxe and i had a few addy items also. so what did i do? i quit rs. but now ive been playing for a week and im gradually getting things back together. if i were anybody i wouldnt sign up for a forum that has hardly any posts or doesnt show up on popular search engines as the same thing may happen to you. i can see that this forum is legit though. also dont use your runescape username and pass when signing up to rs related things as they could easily be stolen.  |

Well, ive actually only been scammed only 1 time, and heres how it went. ( This is gonna take pretty long folks, you might wanna get a snack  ) I had a buddy on my friend list on runescape that was like a level 36 member (at the time I was really noobish and had a combat lvl of 41) I was really desperate for a rune weapon because I couldnt mine anything good (and, at level 59, I still cant cuz it's kind of a lil late to start mining good, so I have a pure mining account that I use now) so I was really desperate for a rune weapon so I asked him if he had any for sale. Then he says he has a rune 2h that he doesnt need and since I helped him with a quest in the past decided to give it to me for only 11k (That was pretty much for me back then.) I was really exited when he asked me to meet him in world 4 non members. After I world switch he PMs me saying taht he has just been cursed by another playing in the wildy and had to give him 12k in order for him to release the curse on the person that was giving me the rune 2h (as I said, I was noobish back then and I didnt know anything that members can do) So we meet in world 4 and he tells me hell give me the r2h after I give him the money so he can pay the guy off. Being genorous, I give him the cash and he says his curse was released. AND THEN he says 'OH NO GOTTA GO NOOOO ILL GIVE YOU THE SWORD TOMMAROW, DONT WORRY I DONT SCAM FRIENDS" and logs off. I was really upset and didnt play for about 2 weeks untill I got bored and started playing again. I still see him on my buddy list and even tho I almost got full rune, I pm him all the time asking for the sword for fun but he uses the lame 'account under new managment sorry I dont know you' excuse. Oh well, 11k isnt that much for me now anyways. |

hi i been hack many a time each time wheni had just got alot of money and new full rune and its happend 4 times now and i keep gettin reli worried when i get better does any1 now wat i should do??? please help!  |

Never been scammed here. The only advice i can help you with is carefully monitor your trades and never give away account info. And dont visit links to websites

NONE IVE NEVER EVER EVER BEEN SCAMMED cause im not a stupid what with me been english (hint hint america) Well, I've never been scammed either, although *several* people have tried -- and I'm american. I do have alot of fun leading the scammers into saying incriminating things, then reporting them. |

iv been scammed / hacked 4 times....
the worst time for me was ....
i went over to a mates place (this was about the time of the phat duping) and to cut a long story short he had a key logger on his computer
so when i got home after goin ( oh yer i was really exited cus i got a really cheap green phat.....i think it was like 1 mill ) i go on rs and oh look at that my stuff is gone....600k cash a blue mask and green phat... of course he he said it wasn't him

any way in total i hav lost 2 red p hats 2 blue mask a green mask like a f##k load of cash and rune oh yer and i just lost my lvl 86 account.....i admit some of the scamms were from me being too noob to relise but oh well i given up in rs now....all i do is go to lvl 48 wildy in rsc with my lvl 3 and wait for ppl the die and i take their stuff hehehehe

Been Scammed? None.
I think I scammed somewhere near 300 accounts though. That was before they actually blocked your pass. I would just go around saying Hey look runescape blocks ur pass watch *******. That got everyone.
I also hacked a runescape scam site and stole all their accounts XD.
Yes I'm an ass. I did it cause I got bored with runescape.
